Vero-Fluconazole is an antifungal drug from the group of triazole derivatives. Inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol disrupting the permeability of the cell wall. This medication is active against Candida, Microsporum, Cryptococcus neoformans, Trichophyton.
Vero-Fluconazole is well absorbed after oral administration. Simultaneous ingestion does not affect absorption. The bioavailability is 90%. Vero-Fluconazole is widely distributed in tissues and organs of the body. Its concentration in breast milk, joint fluid, saliva, sputum, vaginal secretions and peritoneal fluid are similar to those in blood plasma. The concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid is 50-90% of the level in blood plasma, regardless of the presence of inflammation of the meninges.
