Trevilor Retard is a drug belonging to the antidepressant and anti-anxiety agents that aid in the control of depression and anxiety attacks.
This medicine is used to treat mental depression, as well as anxiety disorders and its symptoms.

This antidepressant medication has a tendency to be passed into breast milk and may cause unwanted side effects in the nursing infant. It is advised that you stop breast feeding when using Trevilor Retard Sanis Health.
You must also inform your doctor if you have any of the following medical conditions:
Brain problems such as brain damage or mental retardation
Seizures. The risks of developing seizures may be increased when on Trevilor Retard medication.
Heart Diseases
High blood pressure or low blood pressure. This product may further worsen these medical conditions.
Kidney Problems
Liver disease. If you have liver disease, your doctor may significantly lower your dosage to prevent increase blood levels.
Mania - the condition of patients with a history of maniac tendencies may be worsened when taking the medication.
Weight loss. The intake of Trevilor Retard may increase weight loss in patients who are following weight loss programs in an unhealthy manner.
Take this antidepressant medication as prescribed by your doctor. Do not deviate from their instructions and follow the guidelines outlined for the proper intake of this medicine.
Trevilor Retard should be taken with meals or on a full stomach to lessen stomach upsets associated therewith.
If you are taking the extended release capsule, never chew or break the capsule. Swallow it whole.
The dosage of Trevilor Retard varies from patient to patient depending on factors such as age, body weight and degree of mental depression and anxiety.
The usual dose for adults for the treatment of depression ranges from 75 mg to 375 mg a day, to be determined by the patient's doctor.
The usual dose for adults for the treatment of anxiety ranges from 75 mg to 225 mg per day, to be determined by the patient's doctor.
If an overdose is suspected, immediately consult a doctor. If symptoms worsen and become intolerable, seek emergency medical attention immediately. The symptoms of an Trevilor Retard overdose include:
agitation
convulsions and seizures
extreme drowsiness
unusual and extreme tiredness
burning and prickling sensations on the skin
trembling and shaking
It is strongly advised never to take a double dose of this medication. If a dose is missed, skip it and only take the next dose in the schedule.
Unwanted side effects of Trevilor Retard include:
changes in vision e.g. blurry or distorted vision and double vision
decrease in libido
headaches
high blood pressure
abnormal dreams
anxiety
nervousness
chills
constipation
diarrhea
insomnia
vomiting
weight loss

atypical side effects include:
chest pains
arrhythmia
mood and mental instability
ringing and buzzing in the ears
convulsions and seizures
lockjaw
postural hypotension
menstrual changes
swelling
problems in urination

You may be prescribed a lower dose of Trevilor Retard or you may be advised to entirely taking it entirely.
Depending on the reaction of the Trevilor Retard after taken, if you are feeling dizziness, drowsiness or any weakness as a reaction on your body, Then consider Trevilor Retard not safe to drive or operate heavy machine after consumption. Meaning that, do not drive or operate heavy duty machines after taking the capsule if the capsule has a strange reaction on your body like dizziness, drowsiness. As prescribed by a pharmacist, it is dangerous to take alcohol while taking medicines as it exposed patients to drowsiness and health risk.
