Pharmacological action

Ledoxid Acne is an antimicrobial agent for topical use. It has an antimicrobial effect. This medication is active against gram-positive bacteria: Propionibacterium, Staphylococcus epidermidis.

Ledoxid Acne has keratolytic action, improves tissue oxygenation, the process of granulation of ulcers of the lower extremities. This medicine reduces fat sebaceous glands of skin.

Ledoxid Acne reduces the content of lipids and fatty acids, it has moderate desquamative effect reducing the appearance of comedones and Ledoxid Acne.

For topical use Ledoxid Acne is practically not absorbed. A small amount of this drug is absorbed by the skin. Ledoxid Acne metabolized to form benzoic acid. Ledoxid Acne excreted by the kidneys in the form of benzoate.
